ABA ENDORSES FIRST RESEARCH AS PREFERRED SOLUTIONS PROVIDER

WASHINGTON – The American Bankers Association is endorsing the Industry Intelligence services of First Research, a division of Hoover’s (a D&B company), which provides Web-based tools to help bankers better understand a prospect’s or client’s business issues throughout the customer lifecycle.  The endorsement is made through ABA’s affiliate, the Corporation for American Banking.

“We’re pleased to endorse the vast business intelligence resources of First Research, said John Wolff, CAB president. “ABA members’ loan officers can now be much better equipped to confidently address the needs of their clients.”

Bob Seiwert, ABA senior vice president of the ABA Center for Commercial Lending and Business Banking, added, “First Research’s industry intelligence products give banks the tools they need to develop compelling targeted market strategies that will help them compete and win in today’s marketplace.”

First Research’s comprehensive suite of Industry Intelligence tools include:

  • Industry Profiles - In-depth market analysis covering more than 700 industry segments to help bankers stay on top of constant changes in the select industries of their clients and prospects;
  • Call Prep Sheets - One-page executive summaries that provide a quick way to engage prospects in thoughtful discussions;
  • Email Alerts – Emails containing key industry challenges and recent developments needed to engage new prospects and strengthen client relationships;
  • State and Province Profiles – Summaries of critical industry and business conditions, key employment data and overall economic issues affecting businesses in each state, the District of Columbia and Canadian provinces; and
  • Industry Prospector – Prospecting tool to stack rank industries based on economic and financial data.

“We have enjoyed working with ABA over the years to support their members with the industry information services they need to be successful,” said Darren Pierce, director of community banking at First Research.  “The ABA endorsement validates our commitment to providing bankers with value-added tools to grow their business and we look forward to continuing to serve their needs.”

ABA works to enhance the competitiveness of the nation's banking industry and strengthen America’s economy and communities. Its members – the majority of which are banks with less than $125 million in assets – represent over 95 percent of the industry’s $13.3 trillion in assets and employ over 2 million men and women.
