BAFT-IFSA ELECTS NEW BOARD, OFFICERS AT ANNUAL MEETING
LONDON — BAFT-IFSA, an international financial services association, announced its newly elected board for the 2012-2013 year at the association's Global Annual Meeting – Europe.
The 2012-2013 board will be chaired by Jeremy Wilson, vice chairman, Barclays Corporate. Wilson is responsible for engagement at board or executive committee level with Barclays' major corporate and institutional customers in the development of new business and maintenance of key relationships, and for Barclays representation on industry initiatives. Wilson has been active with the association for years and has served on the BAFT-IFSA board since 2007.
"I am honoured to chair this distinguished international group during such a crucial time for the transaction banking industry," said Wilson. "BAFT-IFSA has a critical role to play and will continue to enhance industry standards, support the international businesses of its members, work on their behalf with regulators around the world, and act as a voice for the transaction banking industry across the globe."
