ACB Participates in FASB Roundtable
Robert Currie, executive vice president and CFO, RSI Bank, Rahway, N.J., represented ACB in FASB’s roundtable on the Business Combinations Exposure Draft. Currie is also the
outgoing chairman of ACB’s Accounting Issues Committee. The exposure draft would require the use of acquisition accounting for all business combinations, including those only involving mutual entities. ACB was the only banking trade group represented in either session of the roundtable. Click here to read more.

Farewell to Charlotte Bahin
Charlotte Bahin, ACB’s senior vice president of regulatory affairs, is leaving ACB to join the Washington law office of Lord Bissell & Brook. A strong advocate for mutual banks, Bahin’s expertise and dedication will be missed, but she will remain in regular contact with ACB as an associate member. At the recent board of directors meeting in Orlando, ACB’s board passed a resolution thanking Bahin for her hard work and for her service to the nation’s community banks.
