WASHINGTON, D.C. — America’s Community Bankers has redesigned its Internet web page, renamed its website address, and will use the website to cybercast major speeches on Oct. 30 and 31 from its Annual Convention in Seattle. The convention cybercasts are in their fourth consecutive year. ACB’s new web address is www.AmericasCommunityBankers.com.

Building on its convention theme of “Community Banking in a Dot-Com World,” ACB’s website not only has a new name, but a new look. Visitors to the website can simply click on a button to access the real-time cybercast of convention speakers or read the Convention Daily newspaper, which will be available on-line each day during the convention.

The redesigned website provides better access to ACB products and services, including those of ACB Partners, Inc. It offers improved online ordering of products, publications and registration for conferences and education programs. And the website features an enhanced keyword search capability and an improved “Member Only” area for information on upcoming issues.

ACB has been a leader in the application of computer-based technology to enhance membership services. Since introducing its website in 1996, ACB has constantly refined and upgraded the kinds of information available.

The cybercast is being underwritten by KPMG LLP and will be archived for later viewing. The cybercast schedule is attached. For technical questions, please call Sam Lisker at (202) 857-5081 or Debra Holland at (202) 857-3181.
