WASHINGTON, D.C. – America’s Community Bankers announced a new delivery channel today for its primary regulatory publication, the Federal Guide. The publication will be available to subscribers online at www.thefederalguide.com. The first presentation of the Federal Guide online was made at ACB’s National Compliance Conference, which is currently being held through Oct. 4 in Savannah, Ga.

The Federal Guide, well known among compliance officers, legal counsel, regulators and auditors, delivers detailed legal and compliance reference materials on banking. The new Web site will employ NextPage LivePublish technology to drive the quick search features and allow speedy downloading of legal publications, agency handbooks, manuals and forms.

The Federal Guide Web edition will offer new technical features, including an ability to search PDF files for keywords, a list of “Industry Resources” and a link to frequently updated topics on the “Daily Alert” page. It is currently published in looseleaf paper as well as CD-ROM, and now will be available in all three versions.

Demand for the Internet delivery has been strong, and ACB is responding to that need by delivering dependable, yet cost-effective resources to community bankers in need of compliance information. The Federal Guide has been a primary source to bankers for 50 years.

America’s Community Bankers is the national trade association committed to shaping the future of banking by being the innovative industry leader strengthening the competitive position of community banks. To learn more about ACB, visit www.AmericasCommunityBankers.com.
