ACB STATEMENT ON HAWKE RETIREMENT
Statement by Diane Casey-Landry, president and CEO, America’s Community Bankers, on the announcement that Comptroller of the Currency John Hawke is retiring from government on October 13:
Jerry Hawke’s career in banking, both in private law practice and in government service, has been long and distinguished. Through his leadership as a key Treasury under secretary and as a federal regulator, Jerry made valuable contributions to the stability and evolution of the banking industry.
