Other speakers include: Franklin D. Raines, chairman and CEO of Fannie Mae;
Eugene M. McQuade, president and COO of Freddie Mac; Cal Ripken, Jr., baseball’s Iron Man;

Also addressing the convention will be ACB Chairman William W. Zuppe, chairman and CEO, Sterling Savings Bank, Spokane, Wash.; incoming ACB Chairman
Harry P. Doherty, vice chairman, Independence Community Bank Corp., Brooklyn, N.Y.; and ACB President and CEO

ACB and its Housing Partners Foundation, the awarding-winning spouses’ philanthropic organization, will celebrate its 14th consecutive convention of giving back to the host city by joining with Habitat for Humanity’s Washington affiliate in sponsoring a Habitat build.
For the fourth consecutive year, an estimated 100 ACB members and spouses will begin framing a single-family house on Saturday, Oct. 16, the day before the convention officially opens. ACB has previously built houses in Las Vegas, New Orleans and San Francisco.
A one-day Directors’ Forum, focusing on challenges facing trustees and directors of community banks, is scheduled for Oct. 17. The forum will be presented by ACB with the National Association of Corporate Directors.
ACB’s highly regarded and sold out business show, the Market Expo, will feature more than 100 exhibitors, featuring a full array of products and services for financial institutions.
