AMERICA’S COMMUNITY BANKERS NAMES OUTSIDE GENERAL COUNSEL
WASHINGTON, D.C. — America’s Community Bankers has named Brock R. Landry, a
Washington attorney, as its outside general counsel. Landry is a partner in the
law firm of Venable Baetjer Howard and Civiletti.
Landry has focused on trade association law for more than 25 years, and has
expertise in non-profit taxation, internal governance, anti-trust and regulatory
issues. Landry is a frequent speaker before industry groups and trade
associations.
In announcing the appointment, ACB President Diane M. Casey said, "As
outside general counsel, Brock brings to the job a broad range of experience in
representing trade associations. His participation in numerous industry
coalitions will make him an invaluable asset in augmenting the work of our
