NEW SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT TO LEAD ACB’S
NATIONWIDE MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Ron Haynie, a mortgage and commercial banking veteran, has been named senior vice president for membership and sales to lead America’s Community Bankers’ nationwide membership program.
“ACB is delighted to take advantage of Ron’s banking expertise and proven sales experience to build on ACB’s steady growth in membership over the last three years,” ACB President and CEO Diane Casey-Landry said today in making the announcement.
“ACB has proven its value both in advocacy and bottom line products to an increasing and diverse number of community banks, including our historic membership base, diversified financial companies and commercial banks. Ron will continue to build on that success to make ACB the association of choice of community banks.”
Since joining ACB in 2001, Haynie has been senior vice president for Mortgage Solutions at ACB Business Partners, Inc., ACB’s for-profit subsidiary.
“Ron has a proven track record at ACB,” said Casey-Landry. “His remarkable success in developing and managing ACB’s Mortgage Solutions programs has demonstrated ACB’s value to the more than 450 participating community banks of all asset sizes and charters selling more than $45 billion in loans through ACB’s mortgage partners.”
ACB’s Mortgage Solutions programs include relationships with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Countrywide Home Loans, Inc., Principal Residential Mortgage, Inc. and Financial Freedom Senior Funding Corp.
“We are a member-driven organization, and with that in mind, we are broadening the scope and responsibilities of the job to coordinate all membership and sales activities,” Casey-Landry said. “Ron’s knowledge of our for-profit products will prove invaluable as ACB undertakes a nationwide campaign to bring the value of ACB membership home to hundreds of community banks across the country.”
Previously, Haynie was director of sales for Freddie Mac. In his 20-year career there, he became well known in the mortgage finance industry and worked closely with many ACB members. Prior to working for Freddie Mac, Haynie was a consumer lending officer at a commercial bank. He is a graduate of the Graduate School of Retail Bank Management of the University of Virginia.
