America’s Community Bankers To Host Second Community Bank Investor Conference

Following the overwhelming success of its first conference in May, America’s Community Bankers will host its second Community Bank Investor Conference, November 18-19, at the Palace Hotel, 455 Madison Ave. at 50th St., New York City, featuring presentations by 18 community banks listed on the America’s Community Bankers NASDAQ Index.

The index, comprised of some 509 community banks and thrifts, is the most broadly representative stock index of community financial institutions. The index was launched in December 2003 to track the performance of this important, but sometimes overlooked, sector of the financial services business. Intraday pricing was introduced in August under the symbol ACBQ.

The conference will provide a unique forum for community banks to present their financial performance to institutional investors and the investment community. A schedule is attached.

The conference will also offer an Investor Relations Boot Camp for publicly traded community banks seeking guidance in developing effective investor relations strategies. This “crash course” will feature investor relations and securities industry experts.

The boot camp will be held on Nov. 18 from 3-5 p.m. Company presentations will be made on Nov. 19 from 8:30 a.m. to Noon and from 1:30-2:30 p.m. A luncheon at Noon will feature Diane Casey-Landry, president and CEO, America’s Community Bankers. See www.AmericasCommunityBankers.com/mtg for a complete schedule of events and speakers.

Both days are open to print media. Because of space limitations, advance media registration is required. Please contact Josh Shusko at (202) 857-3103 or [email protected].
