Speaking Proposals for ACB Conferences

Thank you for your interest in participating as a presenter.  Please note that our Associate Members receive preference over non-members for speaking opportunities at our conferences and education programs. Please read below for general information on ACB’s conferences.

Audience:
  • Delegates are from small to mid-sized community-oriented financial institutions, but some delegates are from multi-billion dollar banks.
  • Delegates are Presidents, CEO’s and other senior bank executives and most have substantive management responsibilities in the bank.
  • The majority of the delegates are experiencing growth in the range and sophistication of the products and services and delivery channels they offer.
  • Most use one of about eight national or regional service bureaus for most of their information systems support, though some rely heavily on in-house information systems.
  • These bankers are looking for strategic and tactical insights to help them in their job and are quickly turned off by sales-oriented presentations.

Delivery Methods

Concurrent session are typically 60-75 minutes in length and can be delivered using the following formats…

Instructional:

The solo presenter will share his/her insight and expertise on the topic through examples and illustrations. The presentation will explore the subject in depth.

Case Studies:
Case studies should focus on technological and business challenges and solutions. Our attendees want real-world success stories, and prefer to get them from their colleagues. We encourage those submitting a case study presentation to include your best customer(s) using the latest technology or business model and reaping the benefits.

Panel Discussions:

A panel discussion will begin with a statement of the issue by the panel moderator followed by each panelist sharing his/her insight on the topic. After each panelist has responded, the moderator will facilitate interactive Q&A with the audience and panelists.
